Ottawa Little Theatre presents Deathtrap

Ottawa Little Theatre’s passing the half way point on their 10-show 100th season. Sixth show of the lot, continuing to celebrate ten plays from ten decades, was last produced there in the 70s. The comedy thriller (also a movie) by Ira Levin — Deathtrap.

Ottawa Little Theatre's DeathtrapHolding the record for the longest running comedy-thriller on Broadway, this Tony award winning play is truly diabolical. A once renowned mystery writer will stop at nothing to return to fame.  When a brilliant script ends up on his desk a series of twists and turns begin that will may only leave one man standing.

Deathtrap is written by Ira Levin and directed by John Collins.  It features Lawrence Evanchick, Diana Franz, Dan DeMarbre, Angela Pelly and Gordon Walls.  The show runs from March 19th to April 6th (Tuesday to Saturday) at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25, with discounts for seniors and students. They can be purchased online at OLT’s website, by calling 613.233.8948, or at the box office at 400 King Edward Avenue.
