SevenThirty Productions presents Stones In His Pockets

Director John P. Kelly has been waiting eight years to direct Marie Jones’s most popular play about two Irishmen who find work as extras on a movie set when the Hollywood engine rolls into a small Irish town. It opens September 7th at The Gladstone - officially kicking off the 2012/2013 season.

Stones In His Pockets, presented by SevenThirty Productions at The Gladstone.Stones in His Pockets is about Charlie and Jake, who get jobs as extras on a big movie set that’s running amok in a small Irish town. The two-hander sees the actors playing Charlie and Jake also take on a myriad of the other characters who make up part of the film crew and the town.

StonesIn His Pockets opens at The Gladstone Theatre on Friday September 7th, 2012 and runs until September 29th. The play stars Zach Counsil and Richard Gélinas. It was written by Irish playwright Marie Jones and is directed in this production by John P. Kelly of SevenThirty Productions. Tickets for the show can be purchased online or at the door for $39 (tax inc.) with discounted prices for artists, students and seniors. There is also a special offer available for anybody looking to see both Stones In His Pockets and the second upcoming Marie Jones/John P Kelly play, Fly me to the Moon which opens at The Great Canadian Theatre Company in October.
